Terms of Service

By creating an account or using GlucoLab, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service. These terms form a binding agreement between you and GlucoLab ("we," "us," or "our").

GlucoLab is intended as an aid in the management of diabetes. It is designed to help individuals with Type 1 diabetes and their care partners log meals, glucose readings, insulin events, activity, and other health data — and to provide data analysis tools, reports, and AI-assisted features to help identify patterns over time.

GlucoLab is an informational tool only. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult your medical provider before making changes to your diabetes care.

You must be at least 18 years old to create a GlucoLab account. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this requirement.

Parents and legal guardians may create and manage accounts on behalf of minor children in their care. In doing so, you represent that you have the legal authority to agree to these terms on behalf of the minor and accept responsibility for all activity on that account.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@myglucolab.com if you believe your account has been compromised.

You may not create an account on behalf of someone else without their authorization, or for any unlawful purpose. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

GlucoLab allows account holders to invite trusted individuals — parents, guardians, spouses, or other caregivers — as Care Partners. Care Partners may view and help manage health data for the account holder who invited them.

Care Partner access is entirely opt-in, controlled by the account holder, and can be revoked at any time. GlucoLab is a personal health tracking tool for individuals and their chosen care partners. It is not a clinical or medical platform and is not intended for use by healthcare providers in a professional or clinical capacity.

GlucoLab offers both free and paid subscription tiers. Paid plans are billed on a monthly or annual basis through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.

All prices are listed in US dollars. We reserve the right to change pricing with reasonable advance notice.

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings or by contacting us at support@myglucolab.com. Upon cancellation, your subscription will remain active through the end of your current billing period. You will not be charged again after that date.

We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods, unused time, or any other circumstances. All charges are final.

You retain full ownership of all health data and content you upload to GlucoLab. By using the service, you grant us a limited license to store and process your data solely for the purpose of providing the service to you.

We do not sell your data, share it with third parties, or use it to train AI models. See our Privacy Policy for full details on how we handle your data.

You agree not to:

• Use GlucoLab for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the service or another user's account • Upload malicious code, interfere with the service, or overburden our infrastructure • Use the service to provide clinical care, medical diagnosis, or treatment recommendations to others • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the application • Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the service without our written permission

GlucoLab and all associated content, features, design, and technology are owned by GlucoLab and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These terms do not grant you any right to use the GlucoLab name, logo, or trademarks.

Feedback or suggestions you provide may be used by us to improve the service without any obligation to you.

GlucoLab is an informational tool only and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Nothing in the application — including AI-generated analysis, meal scores, reports, or any other feature — constitutes medical advice or should be used as a substitute for professional medical judgment.

GlucoLab is not intended for making treatment decisions or recommendations. Diabetes management decisions — including insulin dosing, dietary changes, and treatment adjustments — should always be made in consultation with a qualified healthcare provider and based on data from your approved medical devices. Do not alter any treatment plan based solely on information provided by GlucoLab.

GlucoLab is not intended for calculating insulin or other drug doses. Dosing decisions should not be made based on this application. GlucoLab is not intended for controlling insulin pumps or other drug delivery systems.

GlucoLab displays historical data to help you understand patterns over time. It is not a real-time monitoring system and is not a substitute for the primary display of your continuous glucose monitor or insulin pump. Always follow the instructions provided with your diabetes devices and by your healthcare team.

Use of GlucoLab is at your own risk. We are not liable for any health outcomes resulting from use of or reliance on information provided by the service.

GlucoLab is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of bugs or security vulnerabilities.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, GlucoLab shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to loss of data, health outcomes, or service interruptions. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of GlucoLab shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the bottom of this page. For material changes, we will notify you by email or through the application. Continued use of GlucoLab after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
